Splendid seclusion: a road-trip across the wild Akamas

Despite the present Covid-related travel restrictions, the beautiful natural and urban areas of Cyprus are still accessible to us through the lenses of local creators.

In this video, we go off the beaten track to marvel at the untouched scrub and flora of the Akamas Peninsula, following wedding photographer and videographer George Avgousti, on a road trip across the stunning northwest of the island.

Flanked by the magnificent coastline, and the seclusion of the landscape, Avgousti helps us enjoy the natural treasure vicariously, as we count down to a post-Covid return to exploring our beautiful home.

The 4K footage was shot using a Sony A7III camera, mounted with Sirui 24mm f2.8 and 50mm f1.8 anamorphic lenses, and a DJI Mavic drone.

To view more enchanting scenes of the island through George’s lens, or to book him directly for your special day, follow him via:
