How one Australia teen took to the skies to break silence on youth suicide

This inspiring video tells the story of Tasmania teen Bob Bramley and his impressive flying feat on behalf of young people struggling with suicidal feelings.

In 2019, he took to the skies to circumnavigate Australia solo, in order to raise awareness about youth suicide and spark discussions about mental health, motivated by the near-deaths of his two friends.

His trip, Surviving Turbulence, raised more than $20,000 for support organisation Beyond Blue, and saw him honoured as one of four Tasmanian finalists for Young Australian of the Year.
