How a Brazilian pro skater keeps the edge on her Olympic skills

With skateboarding slated to have its Olympic debut at the Tokyo Games this summer, in this video, we meet Brazil medal hopeful and pro skater legend Leticia Bufoni.

We follow Bufoni as she puts her board through its paces in her backyard – custom-designed with all kinds of obstacles – and later breaks for football and some quality riding time on her Can-Am Ryker motorbike.

The twenty-seven-year-old is one of the favourites for Olympic victory in the women’s section of street. She has been a consistent performer at the World Skate/SLS World Championships since winning the title in 2015, and is also a five-time X Games gold medalist.
