Coronavirus: Postponed vaccines can be rebooked as of Monday

covid 19 vaccinations in senftenberg

After confirmation from the European Medicines Agency and the World Health Organisation last week about the safety and efficacy of the AstraZeneca coronavirus vaccine, the ministry of health on Sunday said the platform to rearrange lost appointments will open on Monday.

Last week the AstraZeneca shots were postponed between Tuesday and Thursday, affecting over 7,000 people.

These slots can be rebooked between 8am on Monday and 7pm on Tuesday.

Given that the vaccination coverage of the population without delay will allow our country to return to normalcy as soon as possible, all citizens are called to contribute to the national effort, choosing vaccination as the weapon to protect and save our lives from pandemic, the ministry of health said.
