Traffic jams on roads to Troodos


Police on Saturday said there was increased traffic toward Troodos and urged motorists to be patient.

According to an announcement, to prevent crowds gathering in the area, police said they were checking traffic to also ensure the smooth and safe movement of vehicles. It added that they were regulating traffic in the roads from Prodromos to Troodos, Karvounas to Troodos and Platres to Troodos.

Drivers are urged to be patient and follow the instructions of the officers on duty.
