Man reports was attacked at knifepoint in Limassol

Police are investigating after a man reported he was attacked at knife point and robbed in Limassol on Sunday afternoon.

The 36-year-old man reported the crime at 6.30pm, saying he was attacked while he was out walking.

He was allegedly punched in the face and threatened with a knife by unknown persons.

They then grabbed two shoulder bags he was carrying which contained a mobile phone, a wallet with a small amount of money and various other personal documents and items.

The 36-year-old was taken by ambulance to Limassol general hospital where he was treated for bruises and discharged.

The perpetrators are described as 20 to 30 years old, 1.70 metres tall, with short hair and wearing dark clothes.
