Police on Monday arrested a man in Nicosia after he was found to be in possession of one kilo of cannabis.
At around 2pm, members of the drug squad stopped and searched a 26-year-old Nicosia resident.
During the search, they found one kilo of the illegal drug in a bag he was holding and the amount of €1,795.
The drugs and the money were confiscated and the suspect was arrested to facilitate further investigations
