Coronavirus: testing locations for Friday

A total of 57 rapid test sites will operate around the island on Friday, the health ministry announced.

The sites provide free coronavirus tests to the public and for the obligatory weekly testing of employees, teaching staff and senior school students.

The ministry urged the public to take advantage of the lockdown period to get tested, so that positive cases are detected in a timely manner.

Those going somewhere, e.g. to the supermarket or to and from work, can go to a rapid test point without sending a text message to 8998.

Results are issued at the site or sent to people via SMS within 24 hours. The sites for Friday are:

Citizens must carry with them proof of identity such as Identity Card, Driver’s Licence, Passport, etc.
