The Paphos district court on Monday remanded two women, aged 31 and 45, and two men, 37 and 24, for five days in connection with a case concerning drug possession and intent to supply others.

The four suspects were arrested on Saturday evening after cannabis products were located in a car driven by the 37-year-old in which the 31-year-old was a passenger. The car was stopped by the drug squad for a check. Search warrants were pending for the vehicles and home of both the driver and passenger.

Inside the car, police located 18 bottles with a substance believed to be cannabis by-products. In their home, a number of concoctions was found also believed to be cannabis by-products.

During the search in the two suspects’ home a car arrived, driven by the 24-year-old with the 45-year-old as passenger. During a search in that vehicle, police found 530 grammes of cannabis.

All items located were seized, while all four suspects were arrested.
