Two forklift operators in Paphos were injured when their vehicle fell into a four-metre ravine, police said on Thursday.
According to police, the accident took place on Wednesday in the area of the Paphos’ municipal slaughterhouse.
Under circumstances which are being investigated, the driver lost control of the forklift and it fell into a ravine. The second man was on the side of the forklift.
The two were transferred to Paphos general hospital.
One of the two, who suffered fractured ribs was hospitalised while the other received treatment for various fractures and was released.
