Elderly woman reports she was robbed while sleeping

An 89-year-old woman reported that €15,000 was stolen from her house in Larnaca on Friday night while she was sleeping.

The woman reported that someone broke into her house, in the Turkish Cypriot neighbourhood in the Mackenzie area, and stole the money while she was asleep.

She reported that she saw a man she didn’t know leaving her bedroom through the window. After checking if anything was missing, she realised that the €15,000 was gone, she told police.
