run fun

Many run for fun. Those who run in the August heat though deserve gold medals however far and fast they go. An upcoming event in Paphos invites runners to run for charity on the beautiful nature paths of the Aphrodite Hills resort. The 5km Aphrodite Hills Fun Run on Sunday will be a special three-hour event cutting through the resort’s beautiful scenery, starting early in the morning to avoid the summer heat.

Beginning at 7.30am, the event has the aim of creating a like-minded community of individuals, friends and family that want to get active and healthy. On the morning of the event, participants will receive a wristband with a unique number and their results will be recorded and uploaded to the FunRunCy website. Registering for the event is a quick and easy process via the website with a €10 participation fee.

Part of the proceeds will go to support For the Love of Life Foundation – a charity that has been created with a strong sense of responsibility to assist (economically and materially) in alleviating poverty and the suffering of fellow citizens, with an emphasis on quality of life. For those who would like to donate anything in addition a box will be available on the day to do so.
