Teen caught driving with parents in car

A 14-year-old girl from Nicosia was caught driving in the Alaminos area, in the Larnaca district with her parents and sister as passengers, police said on Saturday.

According to a police report, the 14-year-old was found in the driver’s seat after the vehicle was stopped for a traffic check in Alaminos on Friday noon.

The teen’s father was in the front seat next to her while her mother and sister were in the back.

Both the 14-year-old and her father were taken in to the Kofinou police station where she was charged with driving without licence and insurance and her father for allowing a minor driving without a licence and insurance.
