Coronavirus: Four business, 34 individuals booked for breaking decree

Four businesses and 34 individuals were reported for failing to adhere to coronavirus protocols after 3,557 checks over the last 24 hours, police said on Monday.

Two establishments and five people were booked in Nicosia after 918 checks, while 16 people and one business were reported in Limassol after just 358 checks, police’s announcement said.

Authorities booked a business in Larnaca and two people after 676 checks, and six individuals in Paphos after 732 checks. Five more people were booked in Famagusta after 587 checks.

No violations were reported by Morphou police, traffic and marine authorities.

Breaches to coronavirus measures include failure to wear a face mask and carry a SafePass in places with more than ten people.
