Second fatality in sea off Limassol

An elderly woman was pulled out of the sea unconscious on Monday morning and was pronounced dead at Limassol hospital.

According to the Police, at 9.30 am, a foreign visitor who was in the sea area near St. Raphael hotel was spotted by her husband floating unconscious.

An ambulance took the woman to Limassol Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

The exact causes of death will be determined by an autopsy.

This is the second incident that happened on Monday after a 65-year-old man’s body was found floating in the sea off Lady’s Mile area.
