No proof of Iran link

With reference to the report published in the Cyprus Mail newspaper on page 3, Friday October 1, 2021, the Iran embassy in Nicosia says the following:

In the first paragraph of the report based on an unknown source of information, it  is assumed that ” An Azeri man held on suspicious of being a hitman, could be a mercenary working for Iran”. The allegation does not carry any proof.
