Police arrest two suspects after five injured in fights

Paphos police have arrested two men in connection with two related fights on Friday that saw five people injured.

Two of the injured were admitted to hospital with knife wounds but their condition was not life threatening. The other three were treated and discharged.

Police said a group of Syrian men clashed on Friday afternoon but there were no serious injuries.

The rival groups clashed again in the evening in an apartment block in Chlorakas where knives were used.

Police issued four arrest warrants and have so far executed two. One of the suspects is one of the two injured men currently in hospital.
