Vandals spray painted nationalist and racist slogans on the walls of a technical school in Nicosia, it emerged on Wednesday.

Staff and pupils of the First Technical School, which is across the road from the Apoel FC fan club, were met with slogans against migrants and in favour of Eoka and Greece.

The slogans read: “Eoka again”, “Hellas”, “Turks out”, “illegals out”, and “Cyprus is Greek.”

A poster announcing a march by far-right Elam was also glued to the wall.

The march will be held to mark the anniversary of the unilateral declaration of the Turkish Cypriot breakaway state on November 15.
