Boy, 11, hospitalised after his bike hit by car

An 11-year-old boy has been hospitalised after a car crashed into the bicycle he was riding in Paphos, police said on Tuesday.

The accident occurred around 4.20pm in Yeroskipou when a car driven by a 26-year-old man hit the bicycle.

He was taken to the district’s general hospital where he is being treated for a minor head injury.

Police said the adult driver tested negative for alcohol.

The conditions of the accident are being investigated by the police.
