Get ready for the 1st Mediterranean Bar Show

Two days of masterclasses, cocktail trends, street food and trade secrets are set to take over the Cyprus Expo in Nicosia as the first Mediterranean Bar Show arrives. From April 30 to May 1 and with a packed agenda, the event aims to educate local and regional consumers and industry professionals while expanding the top tier of Cyprus’ hospitality industry.

The Mediterranean Bar Show connects the region’s companies, professionals and amateurs in the drinks and hospitality industry. Aiming to make Cyprus the networking centre for exchanging products, ideas and expertise between the Mediterranean and the rest of the world, it proposes a series of seminars.

More than 50 exhibitors will be part of the Bar Show while 14 speakers will present seminars that are geared towards all of the different aspects of the industry. Across two stages, the seminars will cover details that make a bar experience worth the while. From why non-alcoholic drinks should matter to the importance of music in the industry and ways to keep bars sustainable and low waste, the show’s seminars cover it all.

To wrap up the event a free closing party will bring together professionals, industry amateurs and cocktail lovers. “If there is a single thing that we should be proud of as Mediterraneans and islanders,” say the organisers, “is that we know how to party hard! Groove with us at our closing party, accompanied by local DJs and the servings of international legends. We promise to keep you on your feet all night long.”

From 7pm onwards, Hall 4 of the Cyprus Expo will turn into a party with DJs Dr Cordoba, Mr Panaman, Mighty Scoop and Pueblo Franco rotating the decks. Some of Nicosia’s favourite bars, High and Wet and Lost+Found Drinkery will be on drinks duty along with an All Star bar with guest bartenders and Ergo bar from Dubai. A stall by the Bar show will also serve classic cocktails and draught beers to close off two days of events.
