In other news, plans to keep state hospitals open in the afternoons suffered a setback after nursing unions turned down the additional pay offered by state health services, and some 8,200 people received the fourth Covid vaccine, with more than 900 vaccinations carried out after its rollout for people over 60 on Tuesday.
