Police were investigating on Friday after they found weapons and ammunition in a Nicosia warehouse.
Officers from the Nicosia CID carried out a search at the warehouse following a tip-off on Thursday.
There, they found a pistol, another pistol with a loaded magazine, a shotgun, a revolver, four detonators, 152 full cartridges and other explosives.
Police said the items were confiscated and will be sent for scientific examination.
