A 32-year-old man committed indecent acts in Limassol in the early hours of Monday, as a result of which the police were forced to handcuff him.

According to lemesosblog, shortly after 3am police were informed that in the area of Enaerios a person was committing obscene acts. Police arrived at the location to find a 32-year-old man sitting on a bicycle.

As soon as he realised police were present the 32-year-old got off his bicycle, took off his trousers and started grabbing and showing his genitals to the police, while shouting at the same time.

A member of the police approached the man, who was found to be in a state of intoxication.

During a search of his bicycle, he was found in possession of a suspicious object for which he did not give satisfactory explanations and he was arrested for all the spontaneous offences he committed.

The man was then transferred to the Limassol police department and taken into custody, while he is expected to appear in court later on Monday.
