Today’s weather

On Tuesday morning the weather will be mostly clear. Winds will be mainly south-westly to north-westly, initially light, 3 Beaufort, becoming light to moderate in the afternoon, 3 to 4 Beaufort and on the south and west coasts up to strong, 4 to 5 Beaufort. The sea will gradually become slightly turbulent up to rough in some areas. Temperatures will rise to 39 C in the interior, 31 C on the western coast, 32 C on the rest of the coast, and 30 C in the higher mountains.

On Tuesday night the weather will be mostly clear, but low clouds or thin fog are expected to form locally. Winds will be mainly westerly to north-westerly, weak to moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort. The sea will gradually become calm to a slightly turbulent, except for the western coast where it will remain a slightly rough. The temperature will drop to 23 C inland, 21 C on the coast and 18 C in the higher mountains.

On Wednesday, Thursday and Friday the weather will be mostly sunny. At night and early in the morning localised low clouds or mist are expected to form. The temperature will not change appreciably, fluctuating slightly above the average for the season.
