Woman caught drink driving arrested

A 49-year-old woman was arrested after she was caught driving under the influence of alcohol in the early morning hours on Tuesday in Paphos.

Officers signalled the woman to stop during traffic checks at 1.15am when she carried out an illegal U-turn.

Police said she was found to have an alcohol level of 132μg while the maximum legal limit is 22μg.

She was also driving her car with an expired MOT, police said.
