Arrests after cartridges, illegal drugs found in Limassol house

Limassol police on Wednesday said they arrested two people after they found over two kilos of cannabis and a number of cartridges in a house in the district.

In total 2 kilos and 188 grammes of cannabis, as well as 35 grammes of cannabis resin and 1.5 grammes of cocaine were found when drug squad officers carried out a search in the Limassol house on Tuesday morning.

Officers also seized two scales and 40 full 9mm cartridges.

The residents of the house, a 33-year-old man and a 29-year-old woman, were arrested, police added.
