Diver taken to Famagusta hospital for decompression treatment

A diver was taken to Famagusta General with decompression sickness on Thursday, the Joint Rescue Coordination Centre said.

According to JRCC, they received a call at 10:12 am near the ‘Zenobia’ shipwreck diving site. They immediately sent boat from the port authority, which collected the diver.

The individual was transferred to an ambulance and taken to Famagusta General’s decompression chamber.
