The Episkopi Environmental Information Centre will host a unique talk: ‘From the Cairngorm Mountains : Rewilding our Environment’, by earth activist Caren Doyle on October 15.

Doyle, a businesswoman passionate about conservation and rewilding, recently hiked the Glenfeshie and Abernethy areas of Scotland’s Cairngorm Mountains with The Big Picture Scotland, an organisation working “to drive the recovery of nature across Scotland through rewilding, in response to the growing climate and biodiversity crises”.

The activist will share her experiences, accompanied by a rich selection of photos, and talk about the iconic species being reintroduced, as well as lessons learned from the initiative. An idea exchange with attendees will follow in a Q&A thereafter. Key topics will include how to integrate and implement rewilding philosophies in daily activities and personal spaces in Cyprus.

At the event, refreshments and a snack bar will be available. While not essential, reservations are welcome: 26-642234/ [email protected]
