Woman arrested over hotel thefts

A 34-year-old woman was arrested on Friday, thought to be connected to a string of burglaries and thefts, police announced on Saturday.

According to a statement, the police received a complaint about five incidents of burglaries and thefts from hotel rooms in the Famagusta district, which took place in August and September.

Police had received testimony against the 34-year-old woman and a court warrant was issued for her arrest.
