Three arrested in Limassol for cannabis dealing and possession

The Limassol police drug squad arrested three individuals aged 25, 28 and 30 late Monday afternoon for having two kilograms of cannabis in their possession.

According to police statement the three were arrested after police received a tip-off and placed one suspect under surveillance. The young man was caught in Pyrgos, supplying two other young men and was arrested immediately after handing over the drugs.

Police arrested the two other men after stopping their car en route to Limassol hospital. The two kilograms of cannabis and small amounts of other drugs were found in their possession.

The three young men were taken into custody and are expected to be brought before the Limassol provincial court on Tuesday for the issuance of a detention order.
