Increased cloud on Sunday could result in isolated showers in mountain areas but temperatures are set to remain above the seasonal average at least until Wednesday, the met office said.
The temperature on Sunday will rise to around 29C inland, around 28C in the north, south and east coasts, 27C on the west coast and around 21C in the higher mountains.
Overnight, they will drop to 15C inland, around 18C along the coast and 11C in the higher mountains.
On Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday it will be mostly clear, but with some increased cloud cover, mainly in the mountains. On Wednesday afternoon there is also the possibility of isolated rain in mountain areas.
Temperatures are expected to rise gradually until Wednesday and fluctuate above average for this time of year.
