Another arrest for forgery at Paphos airport

Police arrested a 23-year-old man at Paphos airport for forgery and impersonation on Monday.

According to police spokesperson, Michalis Nikolaou, at around 1:30 pm a man bound for France presented himself at departures with a French ID.

The document was determined to be forged and when interrogated the man allegedly confessed his true country of origin, and that he is a political asylum applicant.

Police subsequently arrested the man for forgery and impersonation and he was taken into custody.
