For the third year in a row empty beer barrels have been used to create a large Christmas tree outside the Nicosia pub BR Hub.

Made from 75 empty beer kegs, the seven-storey high tree has become something of a landmark on Athinon Avenue in Strovolos.

The tree was first put up in 2020 to bring some Christmas cheer during coronavirus measures.
