Christmas at its best through the eyes of children

Υπουργός Παιδείας – Κάλαντα από πα

The magic of Christmas is best conveyed through the eyes of children, Education Minister Prodromos Prodromou said on Monday after attending a Christmas carol performance by Nicosia pupils.

“They say, and it’s true, that the joy of Christmas and the love we feel is best seen through the eyes of children,” the minister said.

The ministry hosted choirs from Pernera primary school, Acropolis gymnasium, the school for the deaf and the Nicosia music school, who sang carols and festive songs “from Cephalonia and Crete to Cyprus”.

Prodromou sent wishes “to all the children, and everyone else, for a merry Christmas and a happy new year, with health above all.

“Let’s not forget that in the glow of these holidays, the glow is even greater because of love, which is the meaning of Christmas,” he said.
