Koa participates in EU Sport Forum

Cyprus Sports’ Organisation (Koa) will participate in the annual EU Sport Forum in Sweden, it was announced on Monday.

Koa’s President Andreas Michaelides and the Director General, Mary Charalambous Papamiltiades departed Cyprus on Monday for Stockholm, where they will represent the organisation at the EU Sport Forum 2023, which will take place on May 2 to 3.

The Forum will be attended by the official of the Organisation responsible for European Affairs, Ioanna Paraskevopoulou.

This year’s European Commission-led initiative focuses on key issues concerning good governance in sport, athletes’ rights, the role of women and integrity in sport.
