Where do you live?
Currently I live in Kaimakli, Nicosia with my mum and my dad

What did you have for breakfast?
I am a huge fan of overnight oats with peanut butter

Describe your perfect day
A perfect day would be a hike in the Kyrenia mountains and afterwards entering the beaches of Karpaz with the wild donkeys after a long car ride with Cypriot traditional music playing on the radio

Best book ever read?
The best book I ever read was Animal Farm by George Orwell, I consider this book as one of the most impactful books I have ever read since I can correlate it with our current world, it is simple and it gives a direct message to the reader as well.

Best childhood memory?
My best childhood memory would be going to the peace protests with my family as well, my mum and dad whom are supporters of a unified Cyprus would take me to protests with them and seeing so many people together united regardless of whom and where they are from always played a huge importance in the way that I see things.

What is always in your fridge?
Hate to say this, but I love eating Nutella, if it’s the middle of the night, it’s amazing to wake up and just get a scoop of it.

What music are you listening to in the car at the moment?
In the last couple of days I keep listening to Tillirkotissa for some reason but a specific version made by Irini Derebei, Gursoy Dincer, Zacharias Spyridakis, I recommend everyone. Give it a try and listen.

What’s your spirit animal?
My spirit animal would definitely be a tortoise, I love how strong they can be and at the same time they can just relax and do whatever they want as well. They are always protected and even the big predators cannot eat them, if you know what I mean 🙂

What are you most proud of?
I am proud of establishing my first ever organisation Birlikte_Mazi by myself at the age of 15, now having more than 2,000 followers on social media with 50+ coordinators and countless events on the way. I feel very proud that I was able to establish an organisation where all the communities in Cyprus can join and take action

What movie scene has really stayed with you?
To be fair I don’t watch movies a lot but when I watched All Quiet on the Western Front and how the soldiers had no idea of what they were getting into, how they were filled with pride and joy to go to war without knowing what it meant, and how the movie portrayed the fear and devastation of the soldiers was very impactful in my opinion.

If you could pick anyone at all (alive or dead) to go out for the evening with, who would it be?
I would like to have an amazing dinner date with Stefan Zweig, if that doesn’t work out I would like to go on a dinner date with my girlfriend

If you could time travel when/where would you go?
I would very much like to see how was Cyprus back in the days where modernisation had not come to our island yet, I would like to go to the villages and see the people and just try to live like them.

What is your greatest fear?
Being blind and death

What would you say to your 18-year-old self?
Keep doing what you are doing, there is no one else that will implement your dreams if you don’t.

Name the one thing that would stop you dating someone
Trust is everything in a relationship. If there is a disturbance in the trust even a little it can lead to worse events, since that little distrust will stay there for a long time in every action your partner will take you will always have trouble believing in them.

If the world is ending in 24 hours what would you do?
I would gather all my loved ones and have a nice chat with them , I would like to see my loved ones one last time, laugh and cry with them until we all leave. At the end of the days memories will still live on 🙂
