An ox was killed just outside the centre of a village in Paphos, with its internal organs exposed, the Animal Party reported on Friday.
The incident has been reported to the police and veterinary services.
A brief statement by the party explained a man who owned four oxen in Drymou village, killed one with the help of some friends, at a spot a few metres away from the village centre.
The remains were left on the scene, with the ox’s internal organs exposed and becoming a source of infection, the party stressed.
The fate of the other three oxen is unknown, the Animal Party said.
