Food products recalled due to salmonella infection

Health authorities on Thursday said they have issued a recall on certain food products on the market, after sample testing detected salmonella.

The health ministry said it has contacted the companies packaging and distributing the products in question, instructing them to immediately withdraw all the items in the batches identified.

Consumers who may have meanwhile purchased these items should not consume them and return them to the vendor.

The three products identified are: Paradisiotis chicken burgers, net weight 600g, batch number 230214, best before date August 14, 2024; Evridikis chicken rolls with cheese, net weight 1kg, batch number 09.01.23, expiry date February 13, 2024; and Mintikkis chicken burgers, net weight 600g, batch number L-18042023, best before date July 18, 2024.
