Turkish Cypriot ‘MP’ Yasemi Ozturk called for the north’s Jewish Centre to be closed on Thursday.
Ozturk, who belongs to governing party UBP, said she would contact the relevant authorities regarding her demand.
The centre, known as the Chabad Lubovitch North Cyprus, is located in Ayios Georgios, near Kyrenia.
The Cyprus Mail contacted the north’s ‘interior ministry’ and the Chabad Lubovitch North Cyprus for comment.
