A 41-year-old man was mugged in Limassol half an hour after midnight.

Police said the man was riding his electric scooter in the Molos area of Limassol when he was approached by four people riding electric scooters, who threw him to the ground and stole his scooter.

The 41-year-old was slightly injured and taken to Limassol general hospital where he received treatment before being discharged.

Investigations into the case continue.
