Snow flurry recorded in Troodos

Light snow fell in Troodos for the first time in November this Sunday according to Kitasweather private weather platform.

The snow flurry occurred around 3.40pm at Troodos and lasted only five minutes.

The phenomenon was recorded on video at Troodos ski resort, Kitasweather said, noting that the minimal snow observed has already melted.

Meanwhile, frost is expected to form in the higher mountains on Sunday night where temperature is expected to drop at 1C, while temperatures inland will average at 12 C, around 13C on the southern and eastern coasts, around 14C on the western and northern coasts.

On Monday, temperatures will rise to 23C inland and coastal areas while at 11C in the higher mountains.
