Two people were in two separate instances remanded for three days on Sunday in Paphos, under suspicion of trying to depart from Paphos airport with forged passports and IDs.

According to Paphos police, on Saturday afternoon, a 33-year-old man attempted to leave from Paphos in the direction of Rome, using a fake French passport.

Police said that after determining it was fake, allegedly during questioning the man admitted that it was forged.
