Police arrested two men, 45 and 24, as part of investigations into a car theft in Limassol, authorities said on Wednesday.
According to a police statement, the two men were arrested for a case involving the offences of conspiracy to commit a felony, theft and attempted theft.
Police had received information that on August 12, two unknown persons stole various parts from a car, which was parked outside a vehicle workshop in Limassol.
The following day (13/08), these persons were spotted at a point near the vehicle workshop, trying to remove a bumper from a parked vehicle, resulting in their arrest by members of the police.
Subsequently, following written consent, a search was conducted at the 45-year-old’s home, where various car parts were located, which were taken as evidence.
A subsequent check on the parts found identified part of the stolen property.
