A 23-year-old Famagusta resident was arrested in a case of illegal drug possession on Sunday.

The Famagusta drug squad secured a warrant to search the man’s apartment in the afternoon discovering 252g of processed cannabis, 54g of cannabis plant matter, and a precision scale.

The officers confiscated the evidence and arrested the 23-year-old, who was taken into custody.

The case is under ongoing investigation.
