The Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Keve) this week announced that a business delegation, forums, and B2B meetings were held in Bratislava and Prague on November 26 and 28,respectively.

The overall initiative, the chamber said, aimed at promoting closer ties between the business communities of Cyprus, Slovakia, and the Czech Republic.

The events were organised by Keve in collaboration with the Energy Ministry, the Cyprus Trade Centre in Vienna, and the Cyprus-Slovakia and Cyprus-Czech Business Associations.

During his address at the forums, Keve secretary general Marios Tsiakkis highlighted Cyprus’ appeal as an investment destination, promoting the potential of key sectors such as services, technology, and real estate.

Moreover, according to a statement from the chamber, the forums showcased opportunities in Cyprus for investment funds, real estate, and green energy.

Particular focus was placed on Cyprus’ geostrategic position, which offers businesses a platform for both regional and international operations.

Discussions also explored areas of mutual interest and strategic advantages shared by the participating countries.

In addition, presentations were made by Cypriot companies, outlining their expertise and business opportunities.

Following the forums, B2B meetings were held in both Bratislava and Prague.

These provided Cypriot participants with a chance to engage directly with Slovak and Czech companies, fostering opportunities for collaboration and partnership.
