There is something magical about Christmas, isn’t there? Twinkling lights, music in the air, decorated houses and baked holiday goodies. There streets of Nicosia are about to fill with even more festive magic as a parade will cut through the capital city on December 15.

The Magic of Christmas Parade is on the way, returning for its 10th anniversary. All day long, from 10am to 4pm, there will be plenty to enjoy in central Nicosia with decorated classic cars, stunning costumes, dance performances and music. You can follow the parade as it makes its way through the city, or meet it at one of its 10 stops.

The festivities will kick off at 10am from Kyriakou Matsi Avenue before the parade makes its way to the Archbishop Makarios III Hospital Paediatric Ward at 11.30am. It will pass by the Aglantzia Area Spyros Kyprianou Park at 12pm and make its way down Digeni Akrita Street at 12.15pm.

At 12.30pm, it will drop by the European University Cyprus where the Handmade in Cyprus Christmas market will be happening. The parade’s next stops will be the Mall of Engomi, Ayios Dometios Church, CYTA roundabout and Makarios Avenue at 2pm.

Its two final stops will be Stasikratous Street at 2.30pm, before the antique cars, dancers and artists head to Eleftheria Square at 3.45pm for the grand finale at 4pm. The Square will be blasting a Christmas spirit from 2pm with games for children and a live link with Sfera Radio.
