Creativity, imagination, and hope filled the Strovolos Cultural Centre on Thursday evening as Frou Frou proudly hosted the awards ceremony for its recent children’s art contest. The event brought together young artists whose works were awarded, alongside their parents and families, in a celebration of artistic expression and youthful vision.

The art contest was organised as part of Frou Frou’s ongoing efforts to support the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs), encouraging children to express their ideas and values through creativity while promoting awareness of a more sustainable, inclusive, and hopeful future.

The contest invited children from different age categories to express their thoughts, emotions, and perspectives through art. The response was overwhelming, with a remarkable number of heartfelt and imaginative entries that reflected not only talent, but also optimism, kindness, and a deep sense of care for the world around us.

During the ceremony, awarded children were recognised for their outstanding artwork, receiving warm applause as their creations were showcased. While prizes were presented, the evening remained focused on celebrating every child who participated, acknowledging the effort, creativity, and courage it takes to express oneself through art.

“The children’s expressions, ideas, and honesty truly inspired us,” said the Frou Frou team. “Their work motivates us to continue working hard towards making the world a better place — one filled with creativity, empathy, and positivity.”

Frou Frou also announced that the first-place artwork from each age category will be featured on Frou Frou product packaging later this year, giving young artists the unique opportunity to see their creativity come to life in a meaningful and public way. Further details about the product launch and designs will be shared in the coming months.

Frou Frou extends its sincere thanks to all the children who participated, their families, the schools and educators who encouraged and supported the students throughout the process, and everyone who contributed to the success of the contest. Through initiatives such as this, the company reaffirms its commitment to the values of the UN Sustainable Development Goals and to empowering the next generation.

The evening concluded with smiles, photographs, and a shared sense of pride — a reminder that when children are given a platform to express themselves, they can inspire entire communities.
