The police are investigating a case of attempted murder after a man reported that shots were fired at his vehicle while he was driving in Nicosia, authorities said on Thursday.

Since then, the police have gathered evidence for forensic analysis and found holes in the car which appear to have been caused by gunfire.

Investigations are ongoing.
