Construct your own DIY bike rack from pipes

Okay bike fans and DIYers… this video is for you and your trusty two-wheel steed. Follow along to construct a bike rack for your cycle, out of 3/4-inch black iron pipes.

Here is the list of pipes and fittings for a simple bike rack:

• 2 Pieces of 3/4″ pipe 8″ long
• 2 Pieces of 3/4″ pipe 5″ long
• 1 Piece of 3/4″ pipe 36″ long
• 1 Piece of 3/4″ pipe 10″ long
• 2 T-fittings 3/4″
• 1 Straight 3/4″ Coupling
• 2 Floor Flanges 3/4″
• 1 Reducer T-fitting 2″ x 3/4″
• 1 End cap 3/4″

Here is the list of pipes and fittings for the bike rack with a shelf:

• 2 Pieces of 3/4″ pipe 8″ long
• 2 Pieces of 3/4″ pipe 12″ long
• 2 Pieces of 3/4″ pipe 5″ long
• 1 Piece of 3/4″ pipe 36″ long

• 3 90-degree elbows 3/4″

• 1 Straight 3/4″ Coupling
