The first ceremony of awarding excellence in research and teaching 2018-2019 was held online by the rector’s office of the European University recently.

The awarding of teaching and research staff is part of the university’s strategic priorities for recognising excellence in research and teaching. The rector of the university, professor Costas Gouliamos, stated that the awards are a fair recognition of the excellent work of the teaching and research staff and their efforts to assist beyond their duties.

The event was also addressed by the vice rector for research and foreign affairs, professor Andreas Efstathiou, who handed out the awards.
